Vision without action is a daydream.
Sometimes things are sent to promote thought within … Creative, visual, communicative, innovative, strategic, attention-grabbing media.
About Brite Ideas
The design of your print and web media should reflect who you are. All media, including print and web, should be most effective for your specific needs.
A good designer should be able to put themselves in the shoes of each client to help determine the most effective colours, layout, mood, content, etc. to include on the website.
Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare.
Meaning: We need a creative vision to make change in the world—but vision alone is not enough; we also need execution to make that change real. From what I understand this is a Japanese proverb, I like what it stood for. Vision Generates Creation – is my own philosophy.
I have strong values, a good work ethic, I am a perfectionist, and superbly organised and structured. I am also flexible and able to tackle ad-hoc urgent requests, I believe in being honest at all times, and I consider myself a visionary and leader.
My Story
I am the Brite Ideas Group: incorporating Brite Ideas Design, Savvy Signs, Dribble Bibs and Self Medicate.
Lately I’ve been focusing on the web, I am also a provider of digital marketing, graphic design, as well as the web development. I refer to myself as a leading source for small business marketing.
Spare time is spent dabbling in the design of workplace safety signs, researching starting a new business for bandana dribble bibs, and occasionally I’ll put up some online tutorials when I have time to prepare.
I really love what I do, and this is my creative outlet where I am able to share my skills and knowledge by using a multitude of talents to produce various works of art.
These include, and certainly not limited to: any and all print media, business cards, brochures, product catalogues, annual reports, corporate stationery, logos and presentations, websites, and digital marketing to name a few.
My Brands
Brite Ideas Design: Specialising in affordable, high quality design both for web and print media, I assist small businesses with identities both on the internet and in print.
Savvy Signs: Providing cheap workplace safety signs in digital format (as in a PDF file) that can be purchased then print in-house (as many copies as you need – the file is yours) and laminated ready to put up in your office or warehouse. Keep your workplace safe on a tight budget!
Self Medicate: Offers online tutorials for simple tasks in Word, Excel and WordPress CMS and How To’s. Free templates will eventually be located within this platform to get you started.
Dribble Bibs: A new business idea I’m working on in the background. I’ve noticed that the range of bibs available for disability and aged care is fairly limited, especially where the wearer can maintain their dignity by wearing something that doesn’t necesssarily look like a bib. Dribz Bibz (TM) will be bandana dribble bibs for babies, toddlers, mainly focussed on disability for children, youth, adults and also the aged care sectors. Aiming at supplying, Australian Made, good qualit,y, stylish and fashionable bandana bibs that give the wearer dignity.

Creative thinking and solving problems, or discovering workarounds are my thing, a genuine and natural critical thinker. I don’t know how I do it, but it just comes naturally to me. Coming up with ideas to solve the most unique problems.
Mentoring is another passion I have where I love to share my skills. More often it would be so much easier, definitely less time consuming, to fix the issue or do the job yourself, but I find that mentoring and sharing skills can affect the positivity of people and give them a sense of achievement.
It can be quite satisfying seeing the relief on someones face, or hear it in their voice, when they are finally able to do the task at hand themselves. After all, knowledge is power.

Five things you may not know about me
- I toured Tasmania and Victoria on a motor bike. Well, two actually. A Yamaha Virago 250 and a Suzuki GSX750F respectively.
- I could hit a tennis serve at 135k ms per hour.
- I built my own billy-carts when I was a kid. They were constantly modified to be the fastest in the street.
- I was always mistaken as a boy by adults. Wonder why? I still get the “Can I help you sir?”
- I came out when I was 38 with no regrets. I have two beautiful children, four beautiful grandchildren, and an awesome ex husband.
