Small Budget. Big Style.

It’s common sense that you don’t need to have a huge marketing budget to make an impact in business today. With careful planning and smart strategies, most startup small businesses can make a huge impact on the smallest of budgets.

For instance, if you find it overwhelming, call a profession for help. Don’t be afraid to say you have a very small budget – most startup small businesses do. If you find the right professional, that you feel comfortable with and you have followed your gut feeling that this is the one, then you should soon see compelling results of return on investment.

Use the right tools

One of the best decisions you can make is to invest in tools that are already available. There are loads of online tools that can help make your marketing easy by running autonomously. Email marketing platforms, having the right landing page, social media wizards to assist in online advertising. Ask the right questions, search the right keyword and your help is at your fingertips.

Use social media

Depending on your type of business, social media marketing and paid advertising can result in many rewards. Your business can gain more exposure and reach potential customers.

  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram
  • YouTube

All have paid advertising and at least one would be suitable for your type of business, you just need to select the right one for your business. There are many claims that each one is effective and say they have immediate success, although I tend to think it will be more a case of trial and error. You should give each of the at least 2-3 months trial before you come to the conclusion that it isn’t working.

Pay for content and professional photos

Having unique, high quality and informative content for your business is one of the best methods to generate traffic and attract new customers. Try to source a professional content writer that will fit in with your budget to create articles and website content.

Where affordable, try to use a professional photographer to take photos of your products, services, business, manufacturing. Again, if you select the right one, you will be able to utilise these images and use them again and again it all your marketing collateral.

Infographics are a great source of visual information that can be easily prepared by a professional graphic designer that you can add to your article(s), website, and marketing collateral.
